The Friendly Island Collection inspired by a Pasifika theme. This range includes both a bridal and menswear. Aiona dedicates this collection with grateful thanks, to her late grandparents.

A Bridal gown of gold satin and Tapa.  This garment is called “the Fuekafa  of Aotearoa”.  The skirt of the dress is made of Tapa, on which is a motto which represents the heart and people of Tonga.  The bodice of the gown is made of gold satin and represents the designer now, as a citizen of Aotearoa. This gown embodies the two cultures which have formed the designer.

Inspired by the Heilala - a scented flower of Tonga this dress could be worn during the hot summer days while enjoying the fresh breeze.
This evening gown called the WINDOW OF HEAVEN has been designed in royal blue satin to represent the Pacific Ocean.
This design is called the “Styles of Fungahihifo”.   A traditional pule taha in lime satin with coconut shell decoration. The coconut shells around the waist represent the culture of Tonga and respect to both the Royal and Tongan community.
A traditional men’s garment in the same fabric (green satin). The mat around the waist represent the culture of Tonga and respect to both the Royal and Tongan community.
